Just as I am.

Jesus takes us just as i am.  That is a wonderful thought.  it is a thought that helps me to sleep at night knowing that God is not waiting for me to make a mistake just so he can throw me out in the street.  However i think it is also important to remember that we are supposed to make changes in our lives as well.  I have seen it time after time when someone has a glorious salvation experience then for one reason or another we see them turn their back on God and go back to their old way of living.  

It is important to remember we must not simply rest in the fact that God takes us where we are...we must let Him take us to where we need to be.  So lets celebrate God's grace but let us live letting God make us more than we can ever be by ourselves.
