Family Discussion for week of November 7, 2010

This week we talked about miracles.  We discussed that a miracle is something only God can do.  We named some of the miracles Jesus performed and discussed the emotions that people were feeling before and after the miracles.  John 20:30-31 says that Jesus did many more miracles than just what is recorded in the Bible.  The author of John recorded these miracles so that we may believe. 

Take some time this week to discuss this with your family.  Use time that you are already together such as the ride to school, dinner time, bedtime, etc.

What is your favorite miracle?  What does it say to you personally?

Do you think  Jesus performed miracles for His own glory or popularity?

Whom would you tell first if Jesus healed you?

What miracle do you need Jesus to perform for you or someone you know?

Pray as a family: thank God for Jesus, thank Him for miracles, maybe ask Him for a miracle that you need.
