Hungry

I never liked sushi… until, that is, I my friend convinced me to try it out.  Then, I loved it!! Sometimes I’d get hungry: not just for something to fill the void, but specifically for sushi! I found especially if I hadn’t had the chance to eat good sushi in a while, I craved it!

I think sometimes our hunger for scripture is a little like my hunger for sushi.  There are those of us who have never made scripture a regular portion in our spiritual meals, but when it becomes something we ingest consistently, then, when it is missing, our spirit craves it!
